Shouhao Zhou

Shouhao Zhou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences at Pennsylvania State University, affiliated with the Penn State Cancer Institute and the Division of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. He specializes in developing statistical methods for biomedical applications, including Bayesian model selection, meta-analysis, and clinical trial design. His research focuses on oncology, hematology, and medical physics, with notable contributions to leukemia, lymphoma, and glioma studies.

Dr. Zhou holds a PhD from Columbia University (2011). He has led roles in high-impact initiatives, such as co-leading the biostatistics core at Lymphoma SPORE and serving as lead statistician in moonshot programs at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He has secured multiple NIH grants and collaborates extensively on pre-clinical and clinical research.

In 2024, he received the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing health and well-being.
