Dr. Katherine Ann Brown is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University's Center for Security Studies. She currently serves as President & CEO of Global Ties U.S., a citizen diplomacy network fostering international trust through exchange programs. Previously, she held roles at the U.S. Department of State, White House, and U.S. Embassy in Kabul, focusing on public diplomacy and national security. Her research examines media's role in governance and foreign policy, particularly in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
