Samuel J. Huskey is a Professor of Classics and Letters at the University of Oklahoma, specializing in Latin poetry, textual criticism, and digital humanities. He led the Digital Latin Library (DLL), a Mellon Foundation-funded initiative, and contributed to projects like Boccaccio's Shorter Latin Works . His research bridges traditional philology with digital tools, focusing on Ovid, Lucan, and medieval manuscripts. Huskey served as department chair (2009–2019) and chairs committees for organizations like the Society for Classical Studies.
