Andrés Villagrá is a Professor and Associate Dean at Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Pace University, where he is affiliated with the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures. He is based at the New York City campus and has been a key figure in advancing technology-integrated language education.

Dr. Villagrá’s research focuses on Hispanic autobiography, literature of exile, and the application of adaptive learning and intelligent tutoring systems in language instruction. He is particularly interested in how digital tools can enhance cultural and linguistic education through interactive platforms.
His recent works reflect a strong interdisciplinary trend, blending literary analysis with educational technology. The publications highlight his dual expertise: one in the metafictional narratives of Spanish exiles, and the other in developing mobile and web-based language learning applications.
