Katrina Dulay is a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow and Lecturer in Developmental Psychology at City, St George's, University of London, where she is affiliated with the Department of Psychology within the School of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on children's language and literacy development, particularly in socioeconomically disadvantaged contexts and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Her research interests center on understanding how parent-child interactions and home literacy environments shape early language and reading outcomes. She is pioneering a contextualised, ecosystems approach to reading development that integrates cultural, familial, and socioeconomic factors. Her work emphasizes equitable educational opportunities for children facing systemic barriers.
