Jordi Claramonte Arrufat is a Spanish philosopher and university professor at the National University of Distance Education (UNED) in the Department of Philosophy and Moral and Political Philosophy. His work centers on Modal Aesthetics , a theoretical system analyzing the relationships between necessity, contingency, possibility, and impossibility in art and sensitivity. He has authored six major essay works, including the foundational Estética Modal: Libro Primero (2016) and Libro Segundo (2021).
