She has held visiting positions at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Melbourne, University College Dublin, and Harvard University.
Her research explores intersections of gender, genre, and ecology in cinema. She has contributed extensively to debates on the Final Girl trope, eco-road movies, and gender dynamics in crime fiction and horror cinema.
Dr. Paszkiewicz’s recent publications interrogate petrocultural aesthetics, queer temporalities, and the ethics of care in films like Titane, The Florida Project, and American Honey. Her work emphasizes dialogue between academia and industry to advance gender equality in media.
