Katarzyna Beata Paszkiewicz Duszynska

Katarzyna Beata Paszkiewicz Duszynska is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Philology at the University of the Balearic Islands. She holds a prominent position in film and cultural studies with extensive international collaboration across multiple research projects.

Her research focuses on the intersection of film studies, gender theory, and environmental humanities. Paszkiewicz specializes in contemporary women filmmakers, genre studies, feminist film theory, and ecocinema, particularly examining cinematic representations of the Anthropocene. Her work bridges cultural analysis with ecological concerns, exploring how film mediates human relationships with the more-than-human world.
