Drew Whitworth is a Lecturer and Director of Teaching and Learning Strategy at the Manchester Institute of Education, University of Manchester. He holds a PhD in Education from the University of Leeds (2001) and has extensive experience in teaching and research focused on distance/online learning, information literacy, and digital technologies in education. Whitworth has authored three influential books: Information Obesity (2009), Radical Information Literacy (2014), and Mapping Information Landscapes (2020).
