Dr. Gobinda Saha is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). His research focuses on composite materials, nanostructured ceramics, and additive manufacturing, particularly in cold spray technologies. He leads the UNB Nanocomposites and Mechanics Laboratory, which develops sustainable materials for aerospace and energy sectors. His work integrates computational modeling, synthesis, and industry collaboration. Education: PhD in Mechanical Engineering Research interests include advanced materials for additive manufacturing, biocomposites, and environmental applications. He has pioneered cold spray techniques for 3D architectures and developed anti-viral nanocomposite films during the pandemic. Key awards include Fellow of IOM3 (2022) and the Fredrik and Catherine Eaton Visitorship (2022). He chairs ASME’s Composites Technical Committee and advises on nanomaterial regulations through the Canada-USA Regulatory Cooperation Council. Lab: UNB Nanocomposites and Mechanics Laboratory
