Sriram Neelamegham is the UB Distinguished Professor of Chemical & Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Medicine at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. His research focuses on applying engineering principles to study molecular mechanisms of blood cell interactions in diseases such as inflammation, thrombosis, and cancer. He leads the Bioengineering Laboratory within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
