Zeeshan Noor

Dr. Zeeshan Noor is an Assistant Professor and Director of the MS in Nonprofit Administration program at the Institute for Nonprofit Administration and Research (INAR) at Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSUS), where he holds the Norman A. Dolch Super Professorship. He earned his Ph.D. in Public Affairs (Nonprofit Management) from the University of Texas at Dallas (2021), an MPA from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and an MA from the University of Karachi, Pakistan.

• Research Interests: Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy, Volunteering, Communication and Social Media Engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Dr. Noor's recent publications examine nonprofit responses to crises like the pandemic, focusing on trust-building, DEI integration, social media strategies, and prosocial philanthropy. His work spans journals such as Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Journal of Nonprofit Management and Leadership, and Voluntary Sector Review.

• Scientific Awards: ARNOVA Emerging Scholar Award, APPAM Equity and Inclusion Fellowship, ASPA SICA David Gould Scholar Award, Wallace O. Keene Scholarship, and Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society inductee.

He teaches courses like Seminar in Planned Giving (NPA 763) and Nonprofit Governance and Decision Making (NPA 734). Dr. Noor also serves on editorial and professional committees, including ARNOVA and ASPA leadership roles.
