Minnie Hoang

Dr. Minnie Hoang is an Adjunct Professor at Louisiana State University in Shreveport (LSUS) and an Assistant Professor and MPA Coordinator at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). Her work bridges academic research and practical nonprofit management, focusing on community engagement and organizational equity.

• Education: Ph.D. in Public and Nonprofit Management from the University of Texas at Dallas and Master in Public Management from Victoria University of Wellington.

Dr. Hoang's research centers on nonprofit-community engagement, resource mobilization, human resource management, organizational behavior, and DEI. Her work often examines how nonprofits adapt to crises through digital communication and inclusive practices.

Her awards include the ASPA Founders’ Fellowship, ARNOVA Diversity Scholarship, and the SCSU Outstanding Graduate Advisor Award. Dr. Hoang also holds leadership roles in ASPA and ARNOVA professional sections.
