Zachary Herrmann is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Executive Director of the Center for Professional Learning at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE). He also serves as Faculty Fellow with the Penn Environmental Innovations Initiative and chairs the Penn GSE Committee on Professional Learning. His roles include co-directing the Project-Based Learning Certificate Program and leading the Strategic Leadership in Education program.
Dr. Herrmann's expertise focuses on professional learning design, teacher/leader development, team effectiveness, and climate justice education. He taught high school mathematics and developed collaborative networks for educators. His work emphasizes project-based learning (PBL), negotiation strategies, and equity-centered pedagogy.
