Yunpeng Li is a Reader in AI & Digital Oral Health at King’s College London, affiliated with the Centre for Oral, Clinical & Translational Sciences in the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences. Previously, he held roles at the University of Surrey as a faculty member and the University of Oxford as a Postdoctoral Researcher. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering at McGill University, Canada.
His research focuses on trustworthy AI, Bayesian methods, and machine learning applications in healthcare and environmental monitoring. Key projects include AI-assisted dental disease detection via radiography and acoustic monitoring of invasive species. He has secured grants from NIHR, NERC, and RAEng.
