Yiqun Chen

Yiqun Chen is a Lecturer in Saxophone, Double Reeds, and Jazz at South Dakota State University's School of Performing Arts. His roles include teaching applied saxophone, chamber music, jazz appreciation, jazz pedagogy, and woodwind pedagogy, as well as directing jazz ensembles. He is affiliated with prominent music brands as a D'Addario Woodwinds Artist, Eugene Rousseau Mouthpiece Artist, and Yamaha Artist. Dr. Chen has performed internationally and is an active recitalist and masterclass instructor.
