Victoria J. Stone

Dr. Victoria J. Stone is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling at George Mason University (GMU), affiliated with the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) and the Division of Child, Family, and Community Engagement. Her roles include teaching advanced courses on counseling theory, ethics, and clinical practices. She holds a PhD from Virginia Tech.

Research focuses on school counseling innovation, creative therapeutic approaches for youth mental health, and reducing anxiety in children/teens. Recent work emphasizes peer clinical supervision systems for school counselors.
