Tracy Anderson is an Assistant Professor at Bocconi University since 2019. Her research focuses on employment dynamics, collaborative work impacts, and independent contracting in managerial roles. She holds a PhD from the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), a Master’s in Social Policy & Planning, and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the London School of Economics.
Her primary research stream examines how collaborative work structures influence individual and collective performance, particularly through interdependence effects and mobility consequences. A secondary focus analyzes managerial contracting’s role in shaping career trajectories, pay, and work-life balance.
Teaching expertise includes Human Resource Management. Prior to academia, she worked in UK policy research and human resources management.
