About
Prof. Dr. Tony Stöcker is a Group Leader at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE), specializing in MR Physics. His research focuses on developing advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques for early detection of neurodegenerative diseases using 7-Tesla and 3-Tesla MRI scanners. He collaborates closely with population science and clinical research teams to create high-resolution imaging protocols, including the Rhineland Study one-hour imaging framework.
His work addresses technical challenges in ultra-high-field MRI to improve sensitivity for detecting subtle brain tissue changes linked to neurodegeneration. Contact: tony.stoecker@dzne.de | Location: Venusberg Campus 1/99, 53127 Bonn.
