Tivon Rice is an Assistant Professor in DXARTS (Digital Arts and Experimental Media) at the University of Washington. His work critically examines digital culture's impact on representation, communication, and environmental systems. Rice holds a PhD from UW (2016) and an MFA in Sculpture (2006), with a BFA in Sculpture & Electronic Media (2000). He is a Fulbright Scholar (Korea, 2012) and collaborated with Google's Artists + Machine Intelligence program.
