Timothy Coolong is a Professor and Extension Specialist in Vegetable Horticulture at the University of Georgia's College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences. He serves as the Interim ANR Leader and Assistant Dean for Extension, with an 80/20 Extension/Research split appointment. His work focuses on applied field research for farmers, particularly in organic vegetable production and industrial hemp cultivation, and he is based at the Durham Horticulture Research Farm in Watkinsville, GA.
- B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Horticulture from the University of Georgia (2000, 2003, 2007)
- Specializes in variety trialing, fertilization, irrigation, and mechanical cultivation
