Felipe Lozano-Rojas is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration and Policy at the University of Georgia's School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA). His research intersects public finance and health policy, focusing on Medicaid/Medicare, local consumption taxation, sales tax holidays, non-pharmaceutical pandemic interventions, and substance use policies.
Dr. Lozano-Rojas earned his Ph.D. in Public Affairs from Indiana University. His work has been featured by prominent outlets including the Tax Foundation, The Wall Street Journal, U.S. World News, and NPR.
