Timothy A. Milford

Timothy A. Milford is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, St. John's University. He earned his Ph.D. in History of American Civilization from Harvard University (1999) and an A.B. in History from Duke University, graduating summa cum laude (1992).

• Current research focuses on Latin American unrest and Napoleonic-era geopolitics' impact on Anglo-American relations and imperial frameworks.
• Teaches undergraduate courses on Colonial America, Indians and Europeans in Early America, Law in American History, and the Revolutionary Age.
• Graduate courses include Colonial America (17th and 18th centuries) and The American Revolution.
