Ted Pearson is an Associate Professor of History. His research focuses on the colonial, revolutionary, and early national south; colonial military history; the American Revolution; and the Anglo-Atlantic world. He has written on slave rebellion and resistance, class formation in colonial America, and is currently working on a manuscript about slavery in South Carolina.
Education: Undergraduate degree from the University of Birmingham, Master's from Bowling Green State University (M.A.), and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Teaching interests include courses on the Atlantic World, American Revolution, American South, and U.S. History surveys.
