Tim Jackson is a Professor of French Horn and Tutor in French Horn at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). He holds the position of principal horn with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and has previously been a member of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, for five years.
His career spans performing as guest principal horn with orchestras across the UK and Europe, appearing as a soloist with ensembles such as the Manchester Camerata and London Mozart Players. He is Composer-in-Association with Onyx Brass and has received commissions from prominent groups including the Academy of Saint Martin in the Fields, British Telecom, and the Halle Orchestra.
