Dr. Tiffany Michelle Locklear is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). She holds a doctorate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with superintendent and administration licensure, and is a proud alumna of UNCP's School of Education where she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Elementary Education.
Her professional experience includes a decade as a math educator and administrator in the Public Schools of Robeson County. At UNCP since 2018, she teaches, supervises education interns, and mentors aspiring American Indian administrators. Key roles include chair of the North Carolina State Advisory Council for Indian Education, Founding Board Member of Old Main STREAM Academy, and co-lead for the Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity.
