Specializing in flute performance, Robertello's artistic focus encompasses classical repertoire, orchestral literature, and contemporary works. He has premiered significant new compositions including Jerod Tate's "Iholba" for solo flute, chorus, and orchestra, commissioned by the National Symphony and premiered at the Kennedy Center.
His international career spans solo and orchestral performances across five continents, with master classes at major festivals worldwide. Robertello maintains an active recording career featuring works by Telemann, Bach, Faure, and contemporary composers, including live recitals from Japan.
Robertello's extensive orchestral background includes principal positions with the Pittsburgh Symphony, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the National Symphony, plus guest principal engagements with the Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Dallas Symphony. His former faculty appointments include Carnegie Mellon University, University of Notre Dame, Roosevelt University, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
