Anne Marie Gabriele

Anne Marie Gabriele serves as an Adjunct Professor of Oboe in the Woodwinds Department within the College at the New England Conservatory (NEC). She concurrently holds the position of Principal Oboist at the Mozaic Festival in San Luis Obispo, California since 2006, and is a founding member of the Music on the Hill Chamber Music Series in Providence, Rhode Island since 2008.

Gabriele's performance expertise spans orchestral, chamber, and solo repertoire with a focus on classical woodwind traditions. Her career demonstrates deep specialization in oboe performance across major symphonic ensembles and festival settings, emphasizing both collaborative and solo artistry. She maintains active engagement in chamber music through ongoing festival participation and ensemble leadership.

She has held principal and second oboe positions with the Los Angeles Philharmonic (2000–present), Columbus Symphony Orchestra (1993–1999), Honolulu Symphony (1990–1993), and Canton Symphony Orchestra (1993–1999), establishing herself as a prominent orchestral musician. Her festival collaborations include Aspen, Kent/Blossom, Waterloo, National Orchestra Institute, and Breckenridge events.
