Tanzil M. Arefin

Dr. Tanzil M. Arefin is an Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and Associate Director of the Preclinical Imaging Core at the Center for Advanced Brain Imaging and Neurophysiology (CABIN). His research focuses on developing neuroimaging techniques to study brain functions and microstructures in animal models of human disorders, including neurodegenerative and psychiatric illnesses. He holds affiliations with the Del Monte Institute for Neuroscience and the Neuroscience Ph.D. Program.
