Emily Knight

Emily Knight, M.D., Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center's School of Medicine and Dentistry, with joint appointments in the Department of Pediatrics, Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics, and the Department of Neuroscience. She provides clinical care for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, and leads research at the Spectrum Brain Lab.

• Research focuses: neurophysiological mechanisms in autism using EEG, neuroimaging, and virtual reality.
• Techniques: electrophysiology, cognitive testing, and emerging technologies.

Recent publications (2022-2024) analyze sensory feedback delays in autism, biological motion processing, and VR applications in neurorehabilitation. Her work spans neuroscience, developmental disorders, and biomedical engineering.
