Sydney Beckman is a Professor of Law at the Duncan School of Law, Loyola Marymount University (LMU). Previously, he served as an adjunct professor at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and taught at the Charleston School of Law. He holds a B.A. from Stephen F. Austin University and a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law.
His research focuses on evidence, technology's role in legal education and practice, and domestic relations law. He emphasizes innovative teaching methods, including technology integration for engagement and assessment. Beckman is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a member of the Texas Bar, and admitted to the Northern District of Texas.
