Susie Walsh is a Lecturer in Leadership and Human Resource Management and Course Leader for the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship at York Business School, York St John University. Previously, she worked in Third Sector organizations, managing support services for families in conflict and leading multi-agency initiatives addressing domestic abuse and community development. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management and an MSc in Leadership and Management from York St John University, and is pursuing a PhD on female entrepreneurship challenges, focusing on emotional labor and work-life balance.
Her research interests include leadership development, organizational behavior, and the dynamics of leadership in crisis contexts. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
