Susan V. Duff

Susan V. Duff, EdD, PT, OT/L, CHT, is an Associate Professor at Chapman University's Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences, specializing in Physical Therapy. With a doctorate in Movement Science from Columbia University and postdoctoral training in Motor Control at Penn State and a fellowship at the University of Southern California, she focuses on Neural Recovery, Upper Extremity Rehabilitation, and Motor Learning in pediatric and adult populations with neurological disorders.

Her research emphasizes home-based assessment and intervention strategies for infants, children, and adults with neurological impairments, particularly in prehension recovery and hemiparesis. Scientific awards include roles as a Consultant Lecturer for the Social Security Administration and participation in the Myomo, Inc. Scientific Advisory Board. She teaches courses in Motor Control, Pediatrics, and Scientific Inquiry.
