Dr. Blanche Leeman is an Associate Professor in the Flex Occupational Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, where she joined in 2023. Previously, she served as a contributing faculty member and capstone advisor in the Post-professional OT program. She holds a Doctor of Education from the University of St. Augustine, a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from Touro College, and a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College.
Her research focuses on 3D printing applications in Occupational Therapy and specialties include acute care, adult rehabilitation, hand therapy, neurological disorders, and orthopedics. Dr. Leeman began her career in 1997 as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and expanded to neurological/orthopedic rehabilitation over 10+ years. Since 2012, she has taught courses in kinesiology, upper extremity, prosthetics, orthotics, and adult physical dysfunction while maintaining clinical practice.
