Susan Reid Elder

Dr. Susan Reid Elder is a Lecturer at Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, where she teaches and supervises students at undergraduate, Masters, and DBA levels. Her academic work focuses on human resources and organizational behavior, with a particular emphasis on employee well-being and evidence-based HR practices.

Her educational qualifications include:

• MSc in Mindfulness Practice
• PhD from the University of Aberdeen (2022), with a thesis on employee flourishing during remote work in the UK energy sector during the COVID-19 pandemic

Susan's research interests center on well-being at work, the future of work, HR management, leadership, and organizational development. She advocates for evidence-based approaches in HR to enhance workplace flourishing and effectiveness.
