Susan Button is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Greenwich's School of Health Sciences. A registered nurse with cardiothoracic specialization, her research examines psychological aspects of health, including adherence to medication, patient empowerment, and perinatal mental health. Button has led Research Council-funded projects on expressive writing interventions for postnatal mental health and concordance in diabetes management.
She coordinates research project courses for health and social care students and teaches across nursing and social work programs.
