Dr. Stephen P. Stratton serves as Professor of Counseling and Pastoral Care at Asbury Theological Seminary, holding a full-time faculty appointment since 2006. He is a licensed psychologist in Kentucky with extensive clinical experience across hospitals, community mental health agencies, pastoral settings, and educational institutions since 1983.

- Ph.D. from Auburn University (1991)
Research focuses on integrating theological frameworks with psychological practice, particularly examining attachment theory, sexual/gender identity development, and contemplative prayer practices within faith-based contexts.
