Stephanie Higgins is Assistant Professor of Voice & Musical Theatre at Shenandoah University Conservatory. She holds a B.A. from Bishop's University, M.M. from L'Université de Montréal, and is completing a D.M.A. at University of Toronto.
Research focuses on vocal pedagogy transitions from classical to contemporary music, documented in doctoral work "From Classical Music to Music Theatre: A Pedagogical Compendium." Awarded prestigious Canadian doctoral grant for this research. Performance experience includes gospel, folk, and musical theatre roles including Juliet in "The Ballad of Romeo and Juliet."
Students have performed on Broadway, television, and recording studios. Teaches in Ruebush Hall with office hours available.
