Julietta Curenton is Assistant Professor of Flute at Shenandoah Conservatory, Shenandoah University. An acclaimed performer known for her bold and dramatically characterized playing, she bridges classical, jazz, and gospel genres.

Her research focuses on commissioning works by women and African American composers, highlighted in her album 'Harambee: The Power of Sisterhood' (2021). She serves as solo principal player for Soulful Symphony and performs with ensembles including Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and Baltimore Symphony.
