Stephanie Guerrier

Stephanie Guerrier serves as an Adjunct Faculty and Senior Instructor at Cambridge College. With a decade of experience in the mental health field, she brings substantial clinical expertise to her academic role which she has held since summer 2022.

Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with concentration in Mental Health Counseling, both from Southern Connecticut State University.

Ms. Guerrier's research and teaching interests focus on culturally responsive mental health care for marginalized communities, child psychology, and trauma-focused interventions. Her work emphasizes preparing future counselors to address the growing need for mental health services while providing culturally sensitive care to at-risk children.

As an experienced clinician, she teaches courses in Human Development Throughout Life, Research Design and Evaluation, and Field Experience, directly connecting academic training with practical clinical application.

Professionally, she maintains active clinical practice providing outpatient treatment to children and families at a community mental health clinic while serving as a clinical supervisor for clinicians, practicum students, interns, and fellows across various mental health disciplines.
