Stephanie Guerrier

Stephanie Guerrier is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Child Counseling at the Yale Child Study Center, part of Yale School of Medicine. She holds an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University (2012) and is a doctoral candidate in Counselor Supervision & Education (expected 2028). Her work focuses on promoting culturally informed mental health care for children and adolescents, particularly in marginalized communities. She is a licensed professional counselor with over a decade of experience, specializing in therapy for at-risk youth and providing clinical supervision.

Dr. Guerrier actively advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), serving on the Yale Child Study Center's DEIB Committee since 2021. Her efforts aim to address systemic inequities and foster inclusive environments in clinical practice. She has been recognized for her contributions, including in the 2024 award recipients and a 2025 service recognition event.
