Staci Mitchell

Staci Mitchell is a Lecturer in Pan-African Studies at Cal State LA, specializing in theatre arts research focused on African women in the Diaspora. She holds an MA in Theatre Arts from Cal State LA where she investigated Womanism and Black Female Identity.

As a theatre practitioner, she has performed in Los Angeles productions, served with the Robey Theatre Company, and received NAACP Theatre Award nominations. Her creative work includes playwriting, with her solo piece 'Beloved Woman, Mother, and Wife' and an upcoming full-length play.
