Sonya Dyer is a Lecturer in the Department of Art at Goldsmiths College, University of London. As a Somerset House Studios Resident, she combines moving image, sculpture, and writing to investigate centering mechanisms in future narratives. Her work has been exhibited at Venice Architecture Biennale, Whitechapel Gallery, and Site Gallery.

Her 2024-25 works include commissions for The Box (Plymouth) and LAS Art Foundation (Berlin), alongside keynotes at Feminist Centre for Racial Justice and UCL’s Bartlett School. Academic outputs emphasize speculative fiction’s role in reimagining Black feminist futures.
