Simona Botti is a Professor of Marketing at London Business School, joining in 2007 after serving as Assistant Professor at Cornell University's S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Bocconi University, and MBA and PhD in Marketing from the University of Chicago.
Her research focuses on consumer behaviour and decision-making, particularly the psychological processes behind perceived personal control. She investigates how freedom of choice, power, and information influence consumer satisfaction and well-being. Her work appears in leading psychology and marketing journals.
