Sherryl Berg-Ridenour

Dr. Sherryl Berg-Ridenour serves as Assistant Professor of Management and Director of the MBA program at the Fred Hale School of Business, East Texas Baptist University (ETBU). Prior to ETBU, she spent over 23 years in southern California teaching at various institutions and in corporate business, holding roles such as Regional Director of Business Programs and Assistant Professor in Marketing.

Her research focuses on Management, Marketing, and Social Media Analysis, particularly examining the impact of hope-oriented messages on Generation Z through social media listening tools like Brandwatch/Crimson. This work spans areas of careers, academics, relationships, and politics with emphasis on behavioral responses in digital environments.

Dr. Berg-Ridenour demonstrates significant community engagement through her part-time work as a women's counselor at a Family Crisis Center for abused women and children, and as a founding board member of the nonprofit RCAhomestay.com (501c3), which provides church-based housing networks and Christ-centered support for emancipated foster youth navigating higher education.
