Sarah Hartley is a Professor of Technology Governance at the University of Exeter Business School, where she serves as Director of the Centre for Responsible Innovation and Co-Director of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Environmental Intelligence. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on the governance of emerging biotechnologies and AI, particularly stakeholder engagement and knowledge co-production in gene drive technology.
