Professor Sarah Childs holds a Personal Chair in Politics and Gender at the University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. With a background in Political Science and Women's Studies, her research centers on women's political representation, gender and political parties, parliaments, and institutional change. Her award-winning work includes Feminist Democratic Representation (co-authored) and The Good Parliament Report.
