Dr. Marc Geddes is a Senior Lecturer in Politics at the School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on parliamentary politics, particularly UK and comparative contexts, emphasizing how political roles, knowledge use, and institutional practices shape democratic governance. He leads the ERC-funded SPARK project (2024–2029), investigating parliamentary knowledge systems across Europe. His award-winning book *Dramas at Westminster* (2020) analyzes UK select committees' accountability mechanisms and won the 2021 WJM Mackenzie Prize.
