Sara Dalir

Dr. Sara Dalir is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the Hull University Business School, part of the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics at the University of Hull. She holds a PhD/DPhil and has previously held academic positions at Sheffield Hallam University and Oxford Brookes University. Her research focuses on behavioral modeling, complex systems simulation, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Key areas include evaluating digital innovations' impact on economic growth and using Agent-Based Modelling (ABMS) to enhance market competitiveness.

Dr. Dalir has participated in three funded research projects, including a €23.3M 'EXPERIENCE' project led by Norfolk County Council, where she developed an ABMS tool to simulate seasonal business performance. Her work bridges academic research with practical solutions, addressing challenges like tourism seasonality and halal cosmetics industry optimization.
