Sangwon Sohn

Sangwon Sohn is Associate Professor of Design at Winthrop University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. She holds an M.S. in Interior Design from Pratt Institute.

Professional experience includes roles as principal at Sohn Interiors, senior designer at Walter Preston Smith, Inc., and academic positions at multiple institutions including University of West Georgia and Berkeley College. Her research focuses on interior design's role in urban revitalization and community engagement.

Professor Sohn maintains NCIDQ certification and holds professional memberships in the Interior Design Council and American Society of Interior Designers. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences on design education and practice.
